three things: they insulted my friend without their name attached to it, then they tried to dissuade me by saying they'd easily beat me, and then they gave the room number of one of my dorm neighbors, likely not realizing where i lived.

it's a run-around. i'm not wholly certain they won't show, but i'm confident enough about the odds being extremely high.

It's a little odd though... That room's occupied. And the screenshots you showed me don't sound like the person who lives there.

exactly. i've not interacted with lucy-san much, but it's not hard to get a feel for your neighbors when you invariably interact simply by sharing the same living space.

whoever it is, they're cowardly. they're probably thinking they've played me or made me look like a fool — and maybe i've done that second part. but the fight isn't the goal.

the point to all of this is to see if they're a person of their word, and the signs indicate that they're not.

I'm not sure if you're interested in figuring out who said all that, but if you are you've at least got a potential lead.

i think they were possibly trying to cause as much irritation as they could. it would be a coward's way of doing things.

and i am. if nothing else it'll be good to know who to avoid socially.

Wouldn't be surprised. For some people it's less about cowardice and more about stirring the pot. That probably doesn't matter in a case like this, though.
